After announcing that he is vying for the presidential seat in the coming 2016 elections, Donald Trump had said slanderous comments about the Mexican immigrants. He called them 'rapists,' 'killers' and 'drug dealers.' With his unjust discrimination to the Mexicans, many were appalled and dismayed.

Mexico's pageant organizer, Televisa, declared that they will not send candidates to Miss Universe which is co-owned by Donald Trump. Also, the hosts of the said pageant, Thomas Roberts and Cheryl Burke, resigned from their jobs. NBC, along with Univision announced that they will not air Miss Universe because of Trump's discriminating remarks.
Macy's, an American owned chain of department stores announced that they have pulled Donald Trump's merchandise due to his 'controversial remarks.' According to CNN Politics, Macy's had a statement issued on Wednesday saying "We are disappointed and distressed by recent remarks about immigrants from Mexico. In light of statements made by Donald Trump, which are inconsistent with Macy's values, we have decided to discontinue our business relationship with Mr. Trump and will phase-out the Trump menswear collection, which has been sold at Macy's since 2004."
With all these bad reps about Donald Trump, he is still confident about running for president. He even said it's only 'peanuts.' "I'm in it to win it. I gave up a lot. I gave up hundreds of millions in deals, you know, things that I do," Trump said.
According to Politico, Trump has given up a lot, like costing him a lot to cover his campaign. "The peanuts, the cheapest part, is what it costs to do it. I'm giving up hundreds of millions of dollars to do this. I'm giving up a prime-time television show. I'm giving it up to do this. I'm a little blunt, but you know what? Maybe, that's what we need," Trump stated.
Donald Trump seems to enjoy having his name always on the covers of newspapers or to be all over the internet. Well, it's happening. After all, bad publicity is still publicity.
