Ghost Recon: Wildlands became a surprise reveal to all the gamers who attended the recently concluded Electronic Entertainment Expo. Through the demo that Ubisoft shared, it showed that the title has taken a leap when it comes to gameplay as it will feature an open-world multiplayer style in the play. Being under the Tom Clancy license, players will have much to expect from what this game would be able to offer once it finally comes out.

Dominic Butler, who is the Lead Game Designer for Ghost Recon: Wildlands, describes the game as he says, "it's been designed to be played either solo and up to four-player co-op." The title will also render a "non-linear mission system" as part of the new open world scenario. The games report also adds him saying, "We don't have the concept of secondary missions telling completely different stories."

Ghost Recon: Wildlands gives players a lot of freedom in how they want the game to pan out. There are different opportunities which may be found. Butler comments that it is up to the gamers on which experiences they would encounter as he says, "Do they take advantage of night time, of weather[?] Do they take advantage of inter-faction fighting to achieve those goals[?]?

There is no doubt that Ghost Recon: Wildlands was an unexpected launch from Ubisoft during the E3 2015. As noted in the report, the team behind popular titles like GRAW2 and Future Soldier have been forging the next Ghost Recon game for about three years already. During the gaming event, the re-alpha code demo was the footage shared, as the publisher notes.

A lot of information still needs to be unravelled about Ubisoft's upcoming open-world title. Ghost Recon: Wildlands would pose a reasonable wait by around 2017, where the game is expected to launch for current gen consoles, the Xbox One and the PS4, as well as the PC.
