Five Nights at Freddy's 4 gets another teaser, which may be considered the creepiest one yet for developer Scott Cawthon's popular horror series. Aside from giving a scare, more speculation has arisen when it comes to the storyline, such as that of the Purple Freddy and the Golden Freddy being just one character. The said title is expected to come out in Halloween of this year, and whether or not it is really the last chapter is a less important matter for now than the plot of the game at hand.
As pointed out in a recent games report on Five Nights at Freddy's 4, the color of the featured animatronic is something of interest. Fans of the game would have an idea that the signature top hat and bow tie would be purple. At the same time, the color of Freddy is assumed to be yellow by a lot of hardcore community fans.
However, there is a theory derived from a group of gaming experts from 8-Bit Gaming where Freddy had an original gold version. It just got painted to purple when Fazbear Entertainment claimed some of the things from Fredbear's Family Diner. This was supposedly done to conceal the violent events which transpired in the past. Hence, the golden color might still be underneath the purple paint of the bear.
Perhaps the reason why major interpretations are coming up is because of what Cawthon revealed a few weeks back for Five Nights a Freddy's. Together with the released teaser were the words, "something big is coming." This brings to mind the role of Nightmare Fredbear. A noteworthy feature of this animatronic, though, is its cumbersome size. It is possible that the frame of the character is what's being referred to.
Five Nights at Freddy's 4 will be the last game of the series. The recent teaser image gives homage to Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter, which is a likely hint on the standing of Scott Cawthon's work. Nonetheless, this might be just another trick to play with the minds of fans. Fans of the franchise should keep posted for more news on the teasers and other game updates.
