‘The Following’ Season 4 comeback won’t happen anymore? Is it time to say a good-bye?

By

Fans' hope for 'The Following' Season 4 comeback through streaming services may be impossible to grant. Even the cast and crew, as well as Netflix were not signifying any progress for the possible renewal. Like what fans have learned, no one is safe. That means, the series is not safe to being discarded easily.

No one taught that 'The Following' season 3 is the last of the series for FOX. In fact, the previous season ended some cliffhanger that should be answered supposedly in the upcoming season. However, the network was not too patient to hold the series on.

After FOX cancelled 'The Following' season 4, reports were surfacing that the show's crew were doing their best to be hopefully picked up by other networks. But according to Design & Trends, most networks even the streaming service, Hulu, declined their offer. That makes Netflix the last hope for the show.

MasterHerald reports that Netflix might give 'The Following' Season 4 a chance. But this development has yet to be confirmed by both parties. It seems that Warner Bros Television is determined to find the show a new home following the decision of Fox to cancel its fourth season as a result of dismal Season 3 ratings. Word has it that Netflix might be entertaining the offer, but no confirmation has been made on such thus far.

But let's face it. Netflix was not even responding to any speculations regarding the possible renewal of 'The Following'. And most of the cast members did bid their farewells on their Twitter accounts already. 'The Following' twitter page is also not as active as before.

Perhaps, like the show's favorite line, no one safe. 'The Following' season 4 is indeed in the verge of being discarded forever.

Fans, are you still hopeful for the possible comeback? Or maybe we should start letting go of 'The Following' season 4 hopes.
