Few weeks ago, the Duggar family faced another controversy when a police report was made public. The file contains a report wherein Josh Duggar allegedly molested her younger sisters including a family friend. TLC has now cancelled the show and to date, another issue is being faced by the family. This time, a non - family member is about to file civil charges against Josh.
It can be remembered that Josh Duggar said the statement below after the molestation issue broke out via ET Online.
"Twelve years ago, as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I confessed this to my parents who took several steps to help me address the situation. We spoke with the authorities where I confessed my wrongdoing, and my parents arranged for me and those affected by my actions to receive counseling. I understood that if I continued down this wrong road that I would end up ruining my life."
IThis created a big noise and according to In Touch Weekly, a victim of molestation will file charges against Josh. Given this, the Duggar's patriarch and matriarch may have to testify on the very controversial issue. To date, the family is being investigated by the Department of Human Services. Apart from that, there is no certainty if their popular show, 19 Kids and Counting, will be back on air. But just in case the show will be back, there are speculations that the possible trial will be aired.
Meanwhile, there are reports that the Duggar family is paying the same cops who are investigating them in order to provide additional security. Advocate has revealed that the TV reality show stars are paying $25 an hour for the officers to provide necessary protection. In addition, the Duggar family is said to have purchased a decoy police car and parked it within their property.
While Josh Duggar's younger sister have already forgiven him, his reputation is being criticized by the mass.
