Sony Xperia Z3+ is now finally available in the U.S. through Amazon. Sony smartphone lovers in the U.S. need no longer to wait, for they can easily purchase the Sony's latest product in Xperia series online in variants of white, black, copper and aqua green.
As of the moment, the only models available for purchase are GSM devices compatible only with carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile in the U.S. Through the U.S.' largest Internet-based retailer, users have a wide range of variants to choose from. Prices start at around $645 for the white, black and aqua green models, while copper models are around $660. As for U.K.-based consumers, Amazon is also selling the Xperia Z3+ in the U.K. for £495. With also the same hefty price range, consumers can also avail the product in the Sony Mobile Store.
As the name suggests, the latest Xperia Z3+ is an improved version of last year's Xperia Z3. Although the two smartphones are very similar with each other, Sony claims that the Xperia Z3+ is slimmer, lighter and faster. It weighs about 144 grams and has dimensions of 146.3 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm. Aside from its Ingress Protection rating of IP65 and IP68, Xperia Z3+ is durable, dust tight and water-resistant, despite the removal of its micro USB cover door.
The Xperia Z3+ has a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 20.7-megapixel rear Exmor camera and 5-megapixel front camera and a 2,930 mAh battery which is expected to last for two days. It is powered by a 64-bit of Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 810 Octa Core processor, 3GB RAM and has twice as much internal storage of 32GB. The device also comes in with a pre-installed Android 5.0.2 Lollipop as its operating system.
Aside from the latest update which aimed to fix overheating issues, Xperia X3+'s availability in the U.S. is sure good news to Sony lovers.
The Xperia Z3+ was first officially launched in Europe and Japan. Fortunately through Amazon, U.S. consumers can now make the most of Sony's top-rated smartphone.
