Last week, Sony Electronics announced that they will be adding three new models into their SRS series of wireless speakers. These new additions are the SRS-X77, SRS-X88, and SRS-X99. These new models are currently undergoing pre-selling and will be available for purchase in Sony's Online Store and other Online Retailers by the end of July.
Three new wireless speakers from Sony are headed to stores this July and this means more choices for those who like jamming on the go. Aside from being controllable by Bluetooth, the SRS-X77, SRS-X88, and SRS-X99 make listening to music more convenient because according to Engadget, these speakers are compatible with Google's Cast Tech, Google Play Music, Airplay, Pandora, and Spotify Connect. The three models also have multi-room functionality so there is no need to worry if you own more than one of these thanks to the SongPal app and the SongPal Link functionality.
The SRS-X88 and SRS-X99 have higher specs compared to the SRS-X77 and one of the features that they both have is the S-Master HX digital amplification circuitry as reported by AndroidCommunity. This supports high resolution audio so other music file formats like the .WAV format can be played.
The SRS-X99 has seven speakers inside. It is made up of two super tweeters, two front tweeters, two mid-range drivers, and one subwoofer. The SRS-X88 on the other hand has five speakers so this makes it slightly lower than the specs of the SRS-X99 but it also gives the two a significant price difference. The SRS-X77 has one built-in subwoofer and dual passive radiators which are great for playing songs with lots of bass.
Even if the SRS-X77 does not have S-Master HX digital amplification circuitry, there's no need to fret because prnewswire reports that all three models have ClearAudio+TM which improves the audio quality through the SongPla App. ClearAudio+ renders incredibly vibrant sound with more powerful bass and crisp highs.
The SRS-X77, SRS-X88, and SRS-X99 are Sony Electronics' new models of Wireless Speakers. The models were announced last week and they are currently available for pre-ordering.
