The insanely popular game, Minecraft, is currently receiving Title Update 26 to remedy bugs that were introduced with TU 25 that was released earlier for the game from console developer 4J Studios that has rolled out a plethora of massive updates over th years as the title was launched to Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and PS Vita.
Just recently, Minecraft Title Update 25 launched across all console versions offered tons of brand new features such as the super flat worlds, new items and options including some bug tweaks.
For Xbox 360 owners, however, several issues following the installation of the update were brought in that calls for the release of the new patch, TU 26, to solve the problems that the gamers encountered like errors when deleting or renaming a save, interacting with stacking doors, or removing leads from fences, Softpedia reports.
The full changelog for Minecraft for Xbox 360 Title Update 26 are available via the official forums and is now live via the Xbox Live Online Service. There should be an automatic transfer the next time the game starts and connects to the internet.
Meanwhile, both Microsoft and Mojang have announced that the Minecraft Windows 10 beta edition will be launched on July 29 which, according to reports, is the primary step to create one universal version of across each platform where the game can be played. It comes free to current players but new players need to shell out $10.
The Windows 10 Edition of Minecraft is built on the Pocket Edition designed mainly for mobile gadgets. The advantage of this version is it will have console controller support, touchscreen support, and mouse controls, although, it is expected to miss a number of Minecraft major features.
Ultimately, Microsoft and Mojang envision a one version of Minecraft that will be playable on all platforms that will allow game aficionados to have same smooth experience.
"Like the first release of Minecraft all those years ago, this version will develop and evolve over time with the help of [players'] feedback," states the Mojang blog. "That's why it has 'Beta' in the title - because it's not quite finished, and will become even more fun over time. Just like the other versions of Minecraft, all future updates will be free."
Minecraft Title Update 26 for Xbox 360 is now available for download while players can also watch out for Minecraft Windows 10 Beta this coming July 29 all free for current players.
