The upcoming title of Capcom's SF franchise, Street Fighter 5, will hold a panel discussion at San Diego Comic Con event today, July 9, where some more exciting details will be revealed to whet the appetite of brawler game fans. Meanwhile, the game developer has set the beta test to run on PS4 from July 23-28.

The news was announced by Street Fighter 5 executive producer Yoshinori Ono via Twitter on Monday. "We'll have Street Fighter V Panel Session in 11:45am 9th July at #SDCC2015 room6BCF. I look forward to visit you there," his post reads.

According to reports, the panel will last for one hour starting from 11:45am until 12:45pm. And aside from Ono, several other Capcom people will be at the panel including moderator Francis Mao and a panel of Capcom's Street Fighter experts who are expected to share some more exciting news on the latest entry to the Street Fighter series.

More details were given at the press release where it says "exclusives, surprises, and hijinks" could be in store.

"Learn how you can earn big money and everlasting fame by competing in the Capcom Pro Tour, culminating in the Capcom Cup Finals later this year. Plus, get a first look at all the must-have Street Fighter and SFV-licensed products and promotions in store for the rest of the year!," stated in the press release.

It is expected that a new game character would be revealed dutrng the event, similar to E3 2015 where Cammy and Birdie were revealed to be joining the roster of fighters such as Ryu, Chun-Li, M. Bison and Charlie Nash.

Street Fighter 5 is expected to launch early next year when Capcom revealed in their company's financial report that the anticipated fighting game will launch during its current fiscal year that will end March 31, 2016. This could mean that the game could be out sometime between now and the last day of March next year, which seems pretty consistent with rumors circulating online that it will be released in spring next year.

Meanwhile, Capcom has slated the game's first beta test to run on PS4 consoles from July 23 to 28.

"In North America, those who pre-order the game through select retailers or through PlayStation NetWork (PSN) will be granted automatic access to the beta. In Europe and Asia, players interested in participating in the beta program can visit www.StreetFighter.com and follow the various steps to sign up for a chance to join the fight!" Capcom announced.

Street Fighter 5 developed by Capcom is the fifth main title of the game's franchise and will be released as an exclusive title to PS4 and Windows PC early next year.
