‘Avengers 3: Infinity Wars’ update:Beyonceto join cast?; casting call open for villain Magus

The casting call for both lead and supporting roles for the upcoming movie "The Avengers 3: Infinity Wars Part 1" is already taking place. Beyonce is being eyed to play the role of Tigra, Boom Boom or Blink. The search for an actor to portray another villain named Magus is also underway.

Singer Beyonce Knowles is being seen to complete the star-studded cast of "The Avengers 3: Infinity Wars". According to Youth Health, Marvel wants Beyonce to star either as Tigra, Blink or Boom Boom. Tigra has cat-like powers such as speed, supernatural agility and strength. Blink can transport, while Boom Boom is a secret agent who can create plasma bombs. In case this pushes through, this will not be the first time that the sexy singer has ventured into movies. Beyonce also starred in "The Pink Panther" and "Dream Girls" as well as other films.

Meanwhile, Franchise Herald reports, the auditions for "The Avengers: Infinity Wars Part 1" will be held in Los Angeles, California. Aside from Thanos, Adam Warlock's bad side Magus will be the villain in the said Marvel movie. Magus is able to separate from his body and assemble the Infinity Gauntlet. He creates doppelgangers of the Earth's superheroes in order to remake his own evil universe. "Avengers: Infinity Wars" will be shot using the IMAX/ARRI 2D digital camera.

Latino Post added that based on the comic book, Magus is described as an older evil version of comic book hero Adam Warlock who arrives from the future and alters his image. While trying to get the Infinity Gauntlet, he instead is trapped inside the Soul Gem which is one of the most powerful Infinity Stones.

Meanwhile, Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, will make an appearance again. Events and characters in previous Avengers films are expected to take place in "Avengers: Infinity Wars".

"Avengers 3: Infinity Wars Part 1" will be released on May 4, 2018 while the Part 2 is set on May 3, 2019.
