"American Crime Story" Season 1 is about the murder case regarding O.J. Simpson and according to reports, the show is expected to make an enlightening version of the much talked about case. There will be ten episodes this upcoming season and the episodes will be based on Jeffrey Toobin's "The Run of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson."

Vine Report shared that "American Crime Story's" executive producer, Ryan Murphy, was interviewed about the upcoming season and noted that their goal is to show the people the behind-the-scenes of the crime as opposed to what was revealed by the media. He continued to share, "When I read the scripts, I didn't know half the stuff [that occurred]. I'm like, 'That happened? That happened?' I think people will find them so illuminating. I did."

Christian Today reported that the crime anthology will be created by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski and it will be featuring Cuba Gooding Jr., John Travolta, Courtney B. Vance, David Schwimmer, Sarah Paulson, Jordana Brewser and Selma Blair. Gooding Jr. will be the one playing the part of O.J. Simpson and has been reportedly doing a great job in portraying the controversial role.

The ten-episode story started to film back in May and the "American Crime Story" will be released this 2016 on FX. "American Crime Story" will be tackling new crime stories every season and it will also be based on the show "American Horror Story," Youth Health reported.

Murphy also told the publication that he already has plans for the show's second season noting that they will be finding more character-based stories and other details for the next season are to be announced soon. If the first season of the show will be successful, the show could run for more seasons just like "American Horror Story," which is already in its fifth season.
