According to reports, the new game will feature STARS police officer Rebecca Chambers and death row convict Billy Coen who will work together to survive a virus that resulted in a zombie outbreak. The game is designed where players can switch between the two main characters using the game feature called "partner zapping."

Both characters have their own unique abilities and players can also control both characters simultaneously or control them to separate in order to cover a larger area when exploring.

Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster is set to launch in early 2016 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows PC while Resident Evil 7 is tipped to launch in fall season around October when Halo 5: Guardians hits shelves .
