'House of Cards' Season 3 ended dramatically after Claire Underwood said that she was leaving Frank for good due to his vicious behaviors he has been exhibiting towards his partner in crime. If you are still reeling from the previous season's happenings, below are the things that could happen in Season 4.
1. Frank and Claire's power struggle intensifies
Frank and Claire's unstable relationship will take center stage in Season 4. Fans saw Claire left her husband in season 4. The results of their decision will reverberate throughout the season. Aside from the divorce, Claire is also aiming to become the next president. The competition to be on the top is something to look forward to.
2. Doug and Frank will team up again
During season 3 finale, Doug made his way back in the White House. It is said that Frank is more efficient with Doug by his side. And their partnership can be pretty exciting, which is just right for the 'wickedness' of season 4. In an interview by Indiewire, Michael Kelly, who plays Doug, talked about his character in Season 4. He said that, "All [Doug] wants is to be back where he knows he belongs."
3. Neve Campbell and Kevin Spacey as Underwood's new rivals
It was recently reported that Neve Campbell has been listed to 'House of Cards' Season 4 cast members. She is set to play a new rival of the Underwoods, partnering Kevin Spacey's character. Spacey and Campbell will be the couple who will challenge Frank and Claire's presidency hopes.
4. Premiere Date may be around February-March 2016
'House of Cards' season 4 is anticipated to be released around March-February 2016; however, there was also rumors about a possible release closer to the actual 2016 U.S. Presidential election in the fall.
5. 'House of Cards' Season 4 will be more darker
In an interview with Express, series creator and executive producer Michael Dobbs said there's going to be much more "wickedness" in Season 4, as Frank attempts to rule while trying to deal with the scrutiny about his administration.
