Wonder Woman's costume depicts the woman of today that part of her get-up will be wedge gladiator sandals. Meanwhile, actress Gal Gadot, who will portray the woman DC superhero, admits she had no idea what role she was trying out during the first part of the audition for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice".
During the 2015 San Diego Comic Con held recently, costumes of superheroes were revealed including that of Wonder Woman. Stuff reports that a picture of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman shows her wearing a warrior costume matched with wedge gladiator sandals. Fans were able to see up close the Wonder Woman of today in heels, a shield with markings on the edges, cuff bracelets also with markings and a tiara with neutral colors. The report described that Wonder Woman's outfit had been made to look Xena-ish, the Amazon.
Gal Gadot herself was present during the Comic Con where she was even one of the panellists during the Women Who Kick Ass forum, reports Gulf News. The panel aimed to show women's role in movies to be able to inspire, make more women viewers relate and promote women empowerment. There was also a discussion on women stunts and women roles in the future. Gadot agrees that the costume is indeed a representation of the modern Wonder Woman that even she herself was inspired. An Israeli, the actress says she could not believe she would wear the Wonder Woman costume.
"It was an out of body experience," the actress admitted.
According to Latino Post, the 30-year old actress added that she loved the costume and she feels privileged to have made Wonder Woman come into life. Wonder Woman a.k.a Diane Prince was seen wearing a red sexy dress and another scene in a fighting mood.
Despite all the excitement, Gadot also revealed that she actually had no idea who she was auditioning for when she tried out for "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", the first movie where she will appear before her stand alone film. She was in L.A. 2 years ago when Warner Bros. invited her to audition for something. She was called again for a camera test when she was told she was auditioning for Wonder Woman.
