Five Nights at Freddy's is underway, and fans have established a benchmark for the film through a fan-made trailer released in Youtube. Plot theories have also surfaced speculating about the direction the movie might be heading. While the trailer for Five Nights at Freddy's 4 had also been released.
Warner Bros officially announced last April that a movie adaptation to the popular Five Nights at Freddy's video game is in the works. This announcement however, stirred mixed feedbacks from the fans given Hollywood's not so clean track record of popular video games to movie adaptations.
Last May, a fan trailer was released by Youtube's Typhoon Cinema and Deviant Picture Films, showing a couple of clips from the video game, crafting it into becoming a spooky video that scared a lot of fans. The trailer got generally good comments making it the benchmark of what Warner Bros' movie should be like.
Aside from that, fans have also come up with plot theories as to the possible story of the movie. Some of these suggest that the movie should focus on a back story why the Purple Guy killed a child outside the Fredbear's Family Diner. Another suggests that a full story about the Purple Guy could also be the focus of the film since the gamers were only able to encounter him during flashbacks.
One theory also suggests that the film could focus on the events following Five Nights at Freddy's 3 while another suggests that Warner Bros and Scott Cawthon could reinvent the story instead to minimize the debate about the characters.
Meanwhile, as the wait continues for the much anticipated film, gamers won't have to wait for the next chapter of the game as a trailer had been released for Five Nights at Freddy's 4. This time, the horror and the suspense is much more intense as it now takes place in the employee's home.
Five Nights at Freddy's 4 will be released on August 8 in line with the anniversary of the original Five Nights at Freddy's. More details about the Five Nights at Freddy's movie are expected to be released in the coming months.
