As a teaser for fans, Milla Jovovich showed an image of her in cast for her return in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter". This is in preparation for the production for the sixth and final sequel which is set to commence in Cape Town, South Africa next month.
PRODUCTION DETAILS
In her Instagram page, Milla Jovovich, star of "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" posted on Wednesday a picture of her face being wrapped wherein her head was also made to look bald. The prosthetics are part of the preparation for the filming of the movie although no additional details were revealed. Jovovich says she will travel to South Africa for production.
"It's zombie-killing time for the Jovovich-Anderson clan!", the actress wrote.
Jovovich's husband Paul W.S. Anderson is the director of the said movie. According to Coming Soon, this will be his fourth time to direct the Resident Evil franchise. The shooting for "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" was supposed to be done August of last year but Jovovich was pregnant with their second child which caused the delay.
Cape Town will just be one of the many locations of the shoot for the movie which is a sequel to 2012's "Resident Evil: Retribution". Meanwhile, Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold in "The Flash") who appeared in "Resident Evil: Afterlife" in 2012 will make a comeback.

Based on the past sequels of the long-time running franchise, Milla Jovovich is Alice, an amnesiac, armed woman who kills all kinds of monsters including zombies. Cinemablend reports the Resident Evil had an increasing trend in terms of box office hits. The first instalment in 2002 earned $102 million worldwide and "Apocalypse" earned $129 million in 2004. In 2007, Extinction raked $147 million, Afterlife made $296 million though in 2012, Retribution earned $240 million.
"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will finally make its way to theatres on September 2016.
