The packaging of the toy also revealed two new characters in the upcoming film, including a Kanjiklub Gang Member And Tasu Leech . The seventh installment of the epic sci-fi franchise is slated to debut on December 18.
Director JJ Abrams might be frustratingly good in preserving tight secrecy about "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", but recently this ability seems to have fleetingly vanished. On Wednesday, the LEGO/Star Wars fansite, From Bricks to Bothan, has posted images of the packaging for an upcoming Millennium Falcon playset. According to Entertainment Weekly, the set includes minifigures for some of the franchise's iconic faces like Han Solo and Chewbacca, as well as new characters Finn, Rey, and BB-8.
Interestingly, the playset also comes off with two never-before-seen characters that International Business Times recognizes as an anonymous Kanjiklub gang member and Tasu Leech. The outlet notes that the gang member is designed with a helmet along with an eye patch and is carrying a rifle. Leech on the other hand, is featured wearing a black and seems to be holding a blaster. The photos also reveals the X-Wing set which includes the Lego versions of Poe Dameron , another Resistance forces pilot, a ground crew, and BB-8.
The roles and character details of Tasu Leech and the Kanjiklub gang member in the upcoming "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens" is still unknown. Rey's parentage, on whether she's the daughter of Han or Luke Skywalker is also not confirmed. What is known for now is that the film will star Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver ("While We're Young", "Hungry Hearts"), Lupita Nyong'o ("12 Years a Slave", "Non-Stop"), Gwendoline Christie ("Game of Thrones"), Oscar Isaac ("Ex Machina", "A Most Violent Year"), Harrison Ford ("Age of Adeline", "Ender's Game"), Carrie Fisher("Wishful Thinking", "Fanboys"), Andy Serkis ("The Hobbit", "Rise of the Planet Apes"), and Peter Mayhew.
Directed by JJ Abrams, "Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens" is scheduled to hit the big screen on December 18.
