The iPad mini 3 is not that much fat but it is a lot thicker at 7.5 mm than the iPad Air 2 at 6.1 mm. Consumers would like to see iPad mini 4 get slimmed down because one of the key selling points the company's compact slate is portability. However, based on the leaked chassis of rumoured iPad mini 4, there is a big possibility that it will be slimmer.
Looking at previous iPad units unveiled and released, iPad mini 4 is hinted to be launched around October of this year. However, there are some online reports to suggest that the iPad mini 4 will be launched together with the latest iPad Pro in October of this year. So, there is a possibility seeing the new tablet earlier than speculated.
Assuming it will be released this year, techies can expect that it will run iOS 9 due to a processor upgrade. The iPad Air 2 used A8X chip and most probably, the iPad mini 4 should have a faster A9 processor. And, to have a RAM upgrade up to 2GB, as what the iPad Air 2 have.
How much would be the price of iPad mini 4? As for now, it is still unknown. But based on how much the iPad mini 3 costs, it would give a starting price of $399. The iPad mini 4 is still in the guess box as consumers being perplexed when will it be unveiled and released? How much would it cost?
