The cast and crew of Castle Season 8 began to officially shoot the new season this week. Aside from production news, various spoilers about what fans could expect from season eight have begun circulating all over the web as well.
Gossip and Gab reported that the popular website IMDB which is responsible for showcasing and reviewing movies and TV shows, has released a possible spoiler for first the episode of Castle Season 8. In the IMDB post, it was revealed that episode one would focus on an investigation on the disappearance of Rick's father. The case will of course be handled by the series' dynamic duo Castle and Beckett. At the same time, Rick will be gradually regaining memories of his disappearance.
IMDB's post wasn't the only Castle season 8 spoiler going around the internet. If fans and viewers of Castle would recall, the season 7 finale of the series took to the skies with a mid-flight murder case, forcing Rick to lead an impromptu in-flight investigation. The finale, much like the rest of season seven, showcased either one of the main characters and in the case of the last episode, viewers saw only Rick Castle which made them speculate the possibility that showrunners are planning to cut off Beckett's character. Christian Today revealed that there could be some truth to these speculations as more spoilers regarding a possibleturmoil in Castle and Beckett's love life in season 8 were revealed.
Meanwhile, ISchoolGuide revealed that although the introduction of a new character (namely LAPD cop Hayley Vargas who will be played by actress Toks Olagundoye) might cause a love triangle riff in the new season, Nathan Fillion who plays the male lead Rick Castle assures the series' loyal fans and viewers that Vargas will simply be a part of a change in the series that will not necessarily interfere with the lives of Castle and Beckett.
Fans of the series can expect Castle Season 8 to make a return later this year as it has been set to return to ABC on September 21.
