It is that time of the year where gadgets and devices will be showcased in one single event: the IFA 2015 in Berlin.
Rumors are spreading rapidly all over the Internet as to what big name companies will showcase on this event. Here's a quick look at what Samsung, Microsoft, LG, Apple, and others have to offer.
The first on the agenda will be Sony. The giant from Tokyo is said to feature their company's lates flagship mobile phone, the Sony Xperia Z5. Tech Week Europe reported that the Japanese company's flagship smartphone should be Sony's most powerful mobile device to date. Some rumors state that Sony might release some variations to the Z5, including the 'Ultra', and the more budget-friendly 'Compact' edition.
Next on the list is the South Korean colossus, Samsung. Their surprisingly successful phablet, the Note series will have its younger brother unveiled to public. Vine report said since Apple's iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus overshadowed the Note 4 last year, Samsung aims to prevent repeating their mistake by aggressively promoting the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.
Moving on to Bill Gates' and Paul Allen's homebrew, Microsoft. Now, there are news that stated that Microsoft will only showcase the Windows 10. This news is foggy at best since Microsoft will undoubtedly show only laptops on their display. According to Phone arena, Microsoft's press release mentioned "a breadth of new Windows 10 devices, including tablets, 2-in-1s, premium notebooks, gaming devices and all-in-ones." This indicates that there will be a wide array of devices to be expected from the company.
Despite the press release, no word on Microsoft's Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL.
Other points of interest on the upcoming IFA 2015 in Berlin will be a few smart home devices. Motorola, LG, and even the Oculus might surprise consumers.
Further news will come out soon, so stay tuned. The IFA 2015 will be held in Berlin, Germany on September 4 to September 9.
