Medieval games are certainly not taking the hype down by even a single notch. The success of Dragon's Dogma is now being given a strong push to reintroduce itself to the public with Dragon's Dogma Online. With a better system upgrade and unquestionable features, Capcom aims to put another slab of history in their outstanding records.

IGN iterates that Dragon's Dogma Online is based essentially from the Dragon's Dogma 2012 game as well as Dark Arisen of 2013. Gigantic boss battles have returned, so did the clinging attacks as in the previous. One remaining feature is that wherein players can opt to change jobs whenever they feel that it is suitable, between the Shield Sage, Hunter, Priest and Fighter.

Statistically, Dragon's Dogma Online has amazing specs in terms of in-game speed and rate. Kent Kinoshita, the director, recently exposed some frame rate details and in-game resolution in Tokyo, care of Dual Shockers. Seen on Game Spot, Kinoshita also informed that The PlayStation3 version is to run at 720p/30fps, in oppose to the confirmed PlayStation 4 edition which is targeting to run at 1080p, a goal frame rate of 60fps.

It is also to be considered that the 60fps is not a total commitment to all the scenes of Dragon's Dogma Online. There could be instances wherein the frame rate depletes, especially if the particular area is comprised of multiple players. Another notable advantage confirmed is that Dragon's Dogma Online can accommodate cross-platform play; PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC gamers can all be in the game with a common server. Steparu came up with a review of the said game beta with detailed experience comments.

Dragon's Dogma Online is currently given the release date of August 27, 2015. However, it is still yet to be announced if the game is to be distributed in the Western countries. Looking as promising as the past franchise pieces, Dragon's Dogma online may just create another mark to bury other standard competitors of the same genre in the next-gen console realm.
