Multi-award winning songstress Beyonce Knowles-Carter is set to join the already massive cast of Hollywood favorites in upcoming superhero movie, 'Avengers: Infinity War'. The superhero ensemble may seem saturated at this point but there's always room for another one. As if that's not enough, Spider-Man is speculated to appear in the film as well.

According to Australia Network News, casting for part one of 'Avengers: Infinity War' has already began. It also meant that casting rumors came along with it. One such interesting rumor was of the 'Single Ladies' singer joining the lineup of powerful characters.

In a report by Daily Star, Beyonce was revealed to be in talks with Marvel and Disney over the role. Producers were eager to make her jump on board after 'Age of Ultron' which was a very popular venture. They believed her fan base would be a key factor in the eventual success of the upcoming installment in Marvel Studio's Cinematic Universe (MCU).

According to the report, a senior executive at Disney said, "We would love to have Beyoncé on board, almost certainly as a newcomer to the screen from Marvel's existing catalogue of comic book characters."

According to Movie News Guide, once Beyonce is confirmed to join, she may have quite the number of superheroines to choose from. One of them is Boom-Boom (real name is Tabitha Smith), a mutant who can create orbs of energy to blow things up. Another choice is a character named Blink who has the power of teleportation. A third choice is Tigra (also known as Greer Grant Nelson), a cat-like heroine with superhuman strength, speed, agility and super senses. Hawkeye was also stated, although, it's unlikely since actor Jeremy Renner is currently holding the role.

In the same article, it was stated that Spiderman could be joining the hero collective as well after his debut in 'Captain America: Civil War'. It was said that it would be interesting to see whose side he would be on after having to choose between Captain America and Iron Man in the aforementioned movie. It is yet to be confirmed but it is an exciting prospect.

Marvel Studio's Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the highest-grossing film franchise of all time, is prepping for a back-to-back installation of its newest films "Avengers: Infinity War" part one and part two set for release on May 4, 2018 and May 3, 2019 respectively.
