Moto X Kinzie, Moto G 2015 release hinted in FCC Listing: New Motorola flagship devices to have downgraded specs?

By

Motorola has something under their sleeve that everyone must look forward in stores. There is an indication from the Federal Communications Comission (FCC) listing that Motorola may be unveiling their three latest handsets soon which include the highly speculated Moto X Kinzie and Moto G 2015.

There is no official announcement yet from Motorola. However, the appearances are flaunted through the FCC filing where the phones are yet unveiled by the company suggesting that the three devices are closer to make their debut in the market.

The rumoured Moto X Kinzie is listed as FCC ID IHDT56UC2. It features all LTE brands virtually in The US except Verizon uses. The succeeding listing sports FCC ID IHDT56UC1 will support Verizon's LTE band as well. It implies that Moto X Kinzie will be available on all carriers in the US. Reportedly, the Moto X Kinzie would come to have a 5.5-inch display with QuadHD resolution of 2,560 by 1,400 pixels, have MiMo Wi-Fi and capabilities for Turbo Charging.

The device that carries the listing of FCC ID IHDT56UB1 could be launched in the mid-range category in the smartphone market. This could be a new generation of Moto G (3rd generation, 2015) or the latest droid that bound in Verizon. This handset probably features the necessary band support for Big Red Network, but it did not have Wifi 802.11ac. Typically, high-end smartphones come with Wifi 802.11ac, so Moto G 2015 would be classified as mid-end smartphone.

The handset appears to have a removable back plate. This hardware feature brought another set of variable to speculate that this device might be Moto E because of its standard customization. The same with the Moto E, Moto G 2015 also offers the interchangeable back plate feature, concludes that the model isn't Moto E.

Also this handset bears the dimension that similar to the 2nd generation of Moto G. This would be molded into concrete details that Motorola might released the 3rd Generation of Moto G 2015.

One could pin out that among the two devices, the Moto X Kinzie and Moto G 2015, there is some sort of downgrade of specs. As listed in FCC, there is a big difference in the specs comparing the listing of IHDT56UB1 (which could be the Moto G 2015 (3rd Gen)) and the listing of IHDT56UC2 (which could be the Moto X Kinzie).

Anyhow, Motorola has this reputation in smartphone industry to bring excitement for an official announcement of Motorola X Kinzie, Moto G 2015 soon.
