Famous for her thick eyebrows that many girls imitated, British supermodel Cara Delevingne has finally left the runway world in favour of acting but will still do the catwalk occasionally. Although already slowly making a mark in the movie industry, Cara says she will not settle for the usual roles given to models.
MODELLING STINT
Cara Delevingne, 22, who started modelling at the age of 10, left Storm Models Management earlier this summer in pursuit of her long-time dream of acting. The Guardian reports, Cara admits that modelling was "killing her soul" that it affected her health as well as her happiness. She was 10 years old when she made her debut as a model which opened doors for her making her known as the teenager who does not mind to be herself in front of the cameras making faces and doing weird poses. She sported those bushy eyebrows which became the in thing for girls, made a mark as one of the teens walking the runway in the most awaited annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and recently, opened about her relationship with singer St. Vincent (Annie Clark).
The model-turned actress shares she loved acting since she was 4. As a kid, she hated herself that she would pretend to be a different person. With lots of offers given to her, Cara says she does not accept ordinary roles and would rather wait for extraordinary challenging ones.
FILMS
Cara appeared in films such as "Anna Karenina" in 2012, "The Face of an Angel" in 2014 "Tulip Fever", "Kids in Love", "London Fields" and "Pan" in 2015 where she won supporting roles for the mentioned films released this year. According to The Movie Network, she is also one of characters in "Paper Towns" which is currently showing in cinemas. Cara was praised by critics for her performance in the said movie. USA today reports Cara's upcoming film includes "Suicide Squad".
Cara Delevingne is one of those model-turned actress who followed the footsteps of Cameron Diaz, Milla Jovovich, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sharon Stone.
