Nintedo does not exactly release a full list of patch notes and updates for games on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. It is most notably the players that discover the changes. While it can be a delightful surprise to some, it can be a little unnerving. Thanks to the many gaming journalist websites, a comprehensive patch update can be researched. Here are the noticeable updates for Xenoblade Chronicles X patch 1.01.

Updates for Xenoblade Chronicles X hail from GeekSnack's rundown of the obtained player patch notes. Online reports note that Xenoblade Chronicles X Version 1.01 patch have interface tweaks that make for smoother gameplay. The equipment menu is noted to now show all obtained weapons, sorted by their level requirements. Even the weapons that cannot be equipped by the player's current class is shown.

The Union Gameplay mechanics have also been adjusted for players. Nintendo Insider notes that the Uniongram has completely been redeveloped, with Companionand Arms now being the first following the patch. Union Points gain have also been adjusted to player's convenience. Union points are required to increase the B.L.A.D.E. level, allowing players to upgrade their Field Skill sets, either the Mechanical, Biological, or Search. The tweak made to the Union points will allow players to upgrade and improve on these skills quickly.

At the Nintendo E3 2015 Digital Event, the game was announced for a North American release later this year, as per GameSpot. The game has been anticipated for a NA release since its initial launch in Japan last April. Xenoblade Chronicles X is the spiritual successor to Monolith Soft's 2011 Game of the Year Xenoblade Chronicles. Will the new Xenoblade Chronicles X garner the same recognition as its predecessor?

Xenoblade Chronicles X is scheduled for North American release on December 4, 2015 for Wii U gaming consoles.
