'Star Wars: Battlefront' set for Exclusive Xbox One Release via EA Access; New game features and customization revealed

By

The most anticipated Star Wars game in Star Wars history will be coming first to Xbox One in an exclusive EA Access pass days before the actual launch on November 17. "Star Wars: Battlefront" will allow players to play against the Empire or for the Empire, depending on the mission. Stormtrooper customization will also be available, but only to some extent. Stormtroopers will not be authentic if they start sporting unicorn-coloured armour.

IGN reports that Star Wars: Battlefront will be available first on Xbox One systems. The exclusive access comes from active subscriptions of EA Access, according to an executive at Xbox. In responding to a tweet from a fan, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has confirmed that EA Access active subscriptions will indeed have exclusive access to Star Wars: Battlefront days before the official launch on November 17. While EA approached Sony with pretty much the same deal, Sony promptly decliined the offer, so exlusive first pick access remains with Xbox One.

New features on Star Wars: Battlefront have been confirmed, thanks to incessant fans bombarding developers with endless questions about the game features. EA Star Wars official on Facebook has settled some fan queries, ccording to GamingBolt. Players will get a chance to play as both the Rebels and for the Empire. While Survival mode will maintain as a Rebel-only mission, EA Star Wars has confirmed that Imperial specific missions will be available. Such news are more than exciting for fans that believe in the strength of the Empire.

It is true that the level of authenticity that DICE has instilled in the new Star Wars: Battlefront has surpassed fan expectations, the developers are yet again maintaining that authenticity. The sleek, superior look and feel of Star Wars: Battlefront speaks volumes in that it was crafted with care and careful precision. In maintaining this position, DICE has allowed a certain level of customization, but only up to a certain point, according to Express UK. The game will not allow players to create wildly coloured Stormtroopers, or allow Darth Vader's black suit to be desecrated to bright pink.

Star Wars: Battlefront will be released for PC, Xbox One and PS4 systems by November 17, 2015.
