Dragon Age: Inquisition has just released "Spoils of Qunari" DLC Pack for PS4, PC and Xbox One and it is a great news for a lot of gamers. However, old console owners will be disappointed as BioWare intends to make all future DLC packs only avaible for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
The news seems rather unfortunate to the players who have anticipated the game for their last gen consoles. As some of the gamers who are waiting for the rest of the DLC packs have yet to purchase the current generation consoles, the money's worth leans towards a more painful unacceptance of the said announcement.
According to Bidness etc, players may transfer their data from their old consoles to the next gen versions. However, cross-platform imports on the game are not permitted as well. The fact that data can be transferred from current gen hardware to the next gen series is an advantage, but does not take away the probable trouble that it is bound to give players.
The current DLC data that players already have in their current gen consoles can be downloaded as well in the next gen hardware, free of charge of course, but must be the same account. The hassle that this will presumably give gamers may cause continuous negative feedback, but for the most part, the updates added to the game will hopefully suffice for the moment as further announcements of the DLC mechanics are yet to come.
Vg247 reports that the expansion created was not exactly what was expected of it. But even so, the armour alone featured in the pack is considered the best piece that fans can at least live with.
TechnoBuffalo wrote that the new DLC pack would be the horse armor addition that goes alongside the other armor sets and throne decorations. What started out as a joke for most gamers was either taken literally or as a great idea by the game developers, and allows a player to dress up their horses for any purpose. The "Spoils of the Qunari" DLC feat is now available for the next gen consoles such as the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One.
Will this announcement give BioWare a hard time raising itself from the popularity ratings? Stay tuned for more updates on Dragon Age: Inquisition.
