HBO "accidentally" dropped the biggest hint on Kit Harrinton's character, Jon Snow's fate in the Game of Thrones. As speculations over speculations interweave, is Jon Snow still alive?
Fans of the HBO television series Game of Thrones were broken hearted when the well loved character of Kit Harrington Jon Snow was stabbed to death in the finale episode of the recently concluded season five. But fans were not ready to believe that Kit Harrington a.k.a Jon Snow is not returning in the show next year.
Hopes were kept high that Jon Snow could be returning to the show when Harington showed up at the Wimbledon tennis championship sporting Snow's trademark shoulder-length hair which he promised to cut once he was killed off the show. He was also sighted arriving in Belfast airport where the Season 6 script read-throughs happen. The Khaleesi Emilia Clark has even dropped a little bomb when she said that she thinks there's a 50/50 chance Jon Snow will come back from the dead.
Over the weekend, HBO just added fuel to the fire in the debate over Jon Snow's fate on Game of Thrones.
As Pedestrian reports, HBO recently sent out a press release promoting a sale of their latest collection of toys which they call "Honor the Fallen: The Memoriam Collection". It features several beloved characters that were killed before their time by author George R. R. Martin and the writers of the HBO series. In the roster are Robb Stark, Khal Drogo, The Hound, Ned Stark, Oberyn Martell and the less beloved Joffrey Lannister.
However there is one character noticeably absent from the toys of the dead (a concept that is suitably dark for the HBO series) - Jon Snow. This absence prompted many outlets to wonder if the lack of Jon Snow among the collected dead actually constitutes a spoiler.
Yet he is not featured in the Memoriam Collection. Could that mean that he is not actually dead?
