Girls' Generation launched "Channel Girls' Generation" First Episode; SM defends group's Lip Sync Allegation

Girls' Generation, also known as So Nyeo Shi Dae (SNSD) launched their first episode of "Channel Girls' Generation" through OnStyle TV network last week. SM Entertainment defended the the korean girl group of the alleged lip syncing during one of their performances.

The Girls' Generation has just released their single 'Party,' which has been on a top notch after its release. According to Inquisitr, Girls' Generation declared 'Kpop war' against Wonder Girls, who are now back from being away for some time.

Recently, the all girl group had aired their TV show 'Channel Girls' Generation' on OnStyle, a local cable network channel in South Korea. According to the production team of the said show, "It will be a program that shows the personalities, individualities, tastes and lifestyles of the girls through contents that they created themselves."

Korea Herald reported that the girls had fun while shooting their show. "We have the most fun when we are all together. But, the individual segments will display the members' unique charms and illuminate Girls' Generation as a whole," said Tiffany, member of the eight-girl group SNSD. The reality show airs every Tuesday, 9p.m. South Korea EST.

Meanwhile, a debate over the internet if the Girls' Generation's alleged lip syncing was real. Hollywood Take explained that it was in 2010 that the all girl group had done it before in their Taiwan concert. "There were some songs where they lip synced due to the strong choreography, but we did this only to emphasize the dancing and to put on a better on-stage performance for the Taiwanese fans to enjoy. We're saying this again, SNSD danced and sang live to most of their songs for both their Taiwan concerts," said by a rep from SM Entertainment.

On the other hand, Jessica Jung, member of SNSD had left the group.
