'True Detective Season 2 Episode 7' hints that there would be new leads for Caspere Murder Case.Ani on the other hand is said to finds solution to the riddle.
Ventura County Sherriff detective, Antigone Bezzerides or better known as Detective Ani Bezzerides, is close to cracking the Caspere murder case as shown in the promotional teaser videos for True Detective season 2 episode 7. Ani, who is being played by popular Hollywood actress Rachel McAdams, very nearly escaped peril during the previous episode. Episode 7 will show how she will finally be able to find a solution for the mysterious riddle as well as how she would deal with the events of episode 6.
True Detective Season 2 Episode 6 kicked off with the success of Ani Bezzerides, Paul Woodrugh, and Ray Velcoro's rescue mission. Christian Today reports that the detectives finally found missing person Vera Machiado and in the process, were able to obtain some pretty important details that would associate certain people to the death of Ben Caspere, the former Vinci City Manager.
Despite this victory, detective Bezzerides was in hot water immediately after. Christian Today's recap of the episode discussed how Bezzerides was drugged and nearly raped during the episode. Luckily for the detective, she was able to escape her impending demise. On the other hand, Vince Vaughn's character Frank Semyon is also close to solving the Caspere murder case with help of his informant Irena. Unfortunately for him, Irena dies tragically and now, he has to make a deal with Ray regarding the rape case of Ray's wife. The deal would then hopefully help Frank in closing the Caspere murder case as Ray will be providing Frank with the information he would need to solve the case.
The promotional teaser videos for True Detective Season 2 Episode 7 are unveiling some pretty exciting and thrilling twists for the remainder of the season. Melty's discussion on the new trailers for episode 7 hint that Frank finally comes to terms with the fact that his enemies are finally catching up to him. The episode, entitled Black Maps and Motel Rooms, is also hinting that Ani would be venturing into something totally dangerous as she bids her father farewell with a hug. Her father, in the video, then tells Ani to stay safe and stay alive. The teaser video ends with a montage of very intense sequences featuring guns and a devastating punch delivered by Frank Semyon himself.
As the season is about to end, series creator Nic Pizzolatto still hasn't made any concrete plans regarding a season 3 for the series. However, according to Screen Rant's report, HBO president Michael Lombardo is confident in what Pizzolatto would bring in for the next season of True Detective.
True Detective Season 2 Episode 7 is set to premiere this August 2.
