Chicago PD season 3 reveals a sneak preview of Detective Lindsay's character plot. She will be struggling with a lot of things especially in her personal issues.
Chicago PD season 3 spoilers have been circulating the internet as the cast and crew of the show have constantly been updating their fans on social media with regards to the filming of the new season. Instagram updates by actors and Twitter posts by the producers themselves have revealed that the new season will certainly be answering some questions about the future of Detective Erin Lindsay. One of the series' producers Derek Haas has revealed that Lindsay might have to go through a lot for this season due to her quitting the force and her seeming inability to properly cope with the death of her close friend and police force co-worker Nadia Decotis.
Actress Sophia Bush updated Chicago PD fans regarding filming of Chicago PD season 3 with her Instagram post. Carter Matt shared Bush's post as well as adding Haas's Twitter commentary on how Erin Lindsay might be doomed to some sort of physical and even some emotional injuries in season three.
Fashion and Style further provided details regarding Chicago PD season 3 stating that it will pick up right where season two left off. The first episode of the season entitled Life is Fluid will not showcase how everyone in the Chicago police force are still grieving over Nadia's death. Meanwhile, Detective Lindsay has decided to just quit the police force and is quite possibly hitting rock bottom, taking Nadia's death the hardest. One of the series' producers Matt Olmstead said that Lindsay will be struggling with finding her place and would find it difficult to seek help from people and to connect with people as well. It has also been hinted by the show's producers that Lindsay might revert to drinking due to her current ordeal.
Regarding what Detective Lindsay would have to face this season, Bush said that it would really take some time for her character to be able to get back on her feet, assuring fans that nothing is really set in stone with regards to the slump that Lindsay would be experiencing in the upcoming season.
Chicago PD season 3 is set to premiere this September 30.
