Rock Band 4 by Harmonix is basically a returning idea that wants to be back on the table. With the success of all the previous Rock Band installments in the past, this upcoming continuation to the saga looks to bring about more to the stage than ever before.
Project Lead Daniel Sussman claims that making the game was virtually fun. According to Examiner, Mr. Sussman wanted to make the Rock Band 4 a little bit more abstract. He explained, "One of those big ones was the idea that you as a player have an opportunity to put your thumbprint on the music itself, that you could make a difference and express yourself. So we developed a module for the guitar where you can play your own guitar solos."
He also added that Rock Band will be a bit more user-friendly to the audiences who simply want that feel of musicality, as if they really are part of a rock band. With the game's hype, Harmonix looked out for the convenience of the fans who want to continue the game without the need for excessive costs for equipment.
That being said, the instrumental hardware such as the drums and guitar that players have coming from the PlayStation 3 and Xbox can be carried over to the next-gen consoles, as reported by IGN.
Fans are, of course, curious of what the new songs in Rock Band 4 will be. As what Polygon has noted, there will be bonus songs for gamers who are to pre-order their own copies. Simply enough, fans can expect Aerosmith's "Toys in the Attic", The Cure's "Friday I'm in Love", Dream Theater's"Metropolis, Pt. 1: The Miracle and the Sleeper" and even Paramore 's Still Into You, together with a handful of other songs within the repertoire.
Rock Band 4 will hit the stores on October 6, 2015 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
