The Houstons and the Browns reunited and expressed their love and respect at the wake of their beloved, Bobbie Kristina Brown. It is known that both families have issues for a long time and despite of their despair, controversies were spotted at the wake of Bobbie Kristina. These included the appearance of Bobby's wife Alicia Etheredge and the rest of his family members at the memorial, and the request of donations in Pat Houston's foundation.
Both families went at Murray Brothers Funeral Home in Atlanta on Friday, according to Daily News. The Houstons came in full force at the memorial in the presence of Pat Houston and Cissy Houston. Pat Houston is the aunt of Bobbie Kristina who came in solemn spirit. Cissy Houston is the grandmother of Bobbie Kristina who came unexpectedly because of old age and health condition.
The Browns also arrived at the memorial who lead by Bobby Brown, Bobbie's father who looked tense and emotional as reported in the previous news. He brought his wife with him, Alicia Etheredge; Bobby Jr., Bobbie's uncle; and Tina and Leolah, Bobbie's aunts.
However, controversy arose when the Brown family came out from their cars not so long when the Houstons left after viewing the body at the memorial. From the report of Daily News, it seemed that both families intended to avoid each other.
On the other hand, mourners did not just give their condolences to the wake but they were also requested to help a foundation instead of giving flowers at the memorial. The foundation was founded by the sister-in-law of Whitney Houston, Pat Houston. Its name is 'The Marion P. Foundation' which aims to strengthen teen agers' future through the promotion of various programs, according to Cover Media of Yahoo. Because of this, questions arose why Pat Houston needed to take advantage of the situation for her personal matter.
Bobbie Kristina Brown's life has been full of controversies until the day of her death. As for now, investigation is ongoing to find the root cause of her death. And setting aside both families' personal matters are at great importance to help resolve the case of Bobbie Kristina Brown.
