On Monday, August 3, Bobby Brown and late Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina was finally laid to rest. A gold hearse carried the silver casket of the 22-year-old as it enters the burial site on midday at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey. The Browns and the Houstons were present except for Nick Gordon.
The entourage left Whigham Funeral Home in Newark same day. It was the same service that handled the arrangements of Whitney Houston in 2012. The hearse was accompanied by two SUVs containing Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown; grandmother, Cissy Houston; and cousin, singer Dionne Warwick, according to USA Today.
At the midst of Bobbi Kristina Brown's burial, sources revealed the Houstons and the Browns have continued to feud. A photo of Bobbi Kristina has been taken during the private viewing, Fox News reported. The alleged picture was apparently sold to a media outlet for $100,000 after bidding.
Meanwhile, Brown's partner Nick Gordon was not seen in the funeral and in the burial. TMZ reported that the Gordon, 25, wanted to see Bobbi for the last time and emailed Bobby Brown to let him go to the funeral on Saturday. According to the site, Gordon was pleading Bobby and Pat Houston to let him attend the funeral.
"I loved Krissi with all my heart and I am destroyed that she is gone and I need to say goodbye. I'm begging you both to please put your differences aside and allow me this chance," Gordon pleaded Bobby and Pat Houston in the email. "Krissi loved me very much and she would want me there."
Meanwhile, a former neighbor of Bobbi Kristina and Gordon Debbie Brooks called the couple as a passionate and loving pair. She recalled the memory on her wedding day in 2013, telling the previous couple was very passionate towards each other. Brooks claimed they were "lovey-dovey" as they loved each other so much, PEOPLE reports.
Gordon is currently facing a $10 million lawsuit filed by Bobbi Kristina's conservator, Belinda Hargrove alleging him of physical assault and theft. On the latest, an attorney is also considering to file manslaughter charges to Gordon.
Bobbi Kristina died on June 26 after she was found unconscious on her bathtub in her Atlanta home. Since then, family altercation between the Browns and the Houstons has never ceased. The families were feuding allegedly over Bobbi Kristina's care and over the fortune left by her mother, Whitney Houston.
