Despite the tabloid rumors that Robert Pattinson and FK Twigs' wedding is off, it is the contrary. The couple is moving forward with their wedding, and have no plans to postpone their highly anticipated union.
Robert Pattinson and FK Twigs' wedding is not off contrary to the gossip Celeb Dirty Laundry previously reported. According to the rumor, the wedding is cancelled after Twigs banned Pattinson from inviting his former girlfriend Kristen Stewart to their planned nuptials.
The webloid claims that: "FKA Twigs [is] driving Robert Pattinson away by banning his ex-girlfriend from their wedding. It's furthermore alleged that forbidding a fiancé from inviting his ex-girlfriend to a wedding is definitely not a great start to any marriage."
A source close to the situation exclusively tells Gossip Cop that what Celeb Dirty Laundry is dishing about Pattinson being forbidden from inviting Stewart is stupid and wrong in every manner. But another report purportedly quoted Robert Pattinson as saying: "The success of Twilight is something special that I will never regret. Since I started this career I am trying to improve myself, to challenge myself with different roles compared to those I have already interpreted. If in 10 years they will speak of me still just as the one from 'Twilight,' the blame will be mine alone."
The news on the couple's engagement surfaced in April and the singer/dancer FK Twigs makes the final decision on the details. They have agreed to tie the knot in the UK and they will be staging an intimate and low key nuptial during summer.
In the midst of wedding preparations, FKA Twigs took the stage at day one of the Osheaga Music and Art Festival on Friday (July 31) in Montreal, Canada. The 27-year-old entertainer gave an energetic performance that the crowd loved every minute of it.
In an interview, FKA or Tahliah Barnett told the Montreal Gazette: "Take someone like Janet Jackson who always used to dance to her music. She makes music first and foremost, which is what I do. Maybe the reason people are so fascinated is because I'm classically trained, which adds another level to it. But really, I'm no different from any other artist who is known for dancing. I do ballet and contemporary, so I guess it's a bit more abstract than twerking or something."
The Brit singer/dancer sent excitement into fans after she posted a photo of herself wearing a white dress on Instagram with the caption, "inches and scissors never hurt anybody." While Twigs' post was insinuating that she was about to get a haircut, it did not stop fans to speculate that the white gown is going to be her wedding dress.
Meanwhile, neither Twigs nor Pattinson has addressed the matter. Celeb Dirty Laundry is the same site which fabricated stories claiming Pattinson's sisters want him to call off his wedding that Pattinson was dumping FKA Twigs for Stewart and that Pattinson and Stewart were having a baby.
