Gwyneth Paltrow is very famous for her moniker for divorce. Now, she talks about her take on uncoupling post and vaginal steaming endorsement. She even said that she doesn't really have any a clue about such terms and defended her Editorial Director.
It's considered as one of the most mocked posts on Gwyneth Paltrow's controversial lifestyle website called Goop. But now, the writer of the sit wants to divorce herself from her very well- known saying.
In a recent interview with Fast Company, Goop creator, Gwyneth Paltrow talks about her side when her terms in the letter like "conscious uncoupling" and "vaginal steam" went viral not for a very favorable reason, "When something like that happens, I think everybody is like, Oh, s--t," she explains. "I just tell them that I think we are creating interesting discussions."
She defended herself that it's not her idea to use the term "conscious uncoupling" in the announcement of her marriage split up with Chris Martin on the site. She and Coldplay singer Chris Martin were derided for using the term when they decided to announce the separation, BBC reports.
While Paltrow and Martin handled the divorce properly, she had admitted in the past that even she cannot comprehend what the term really means. When she's reminded that it was "conscious uncoupling" she said, "Yes, but it's called "conscious", not "conscious uncoupling", "conscious."
She revealed, "When I announced that I was separating on the website, Elise Loehnen, the Editorial Director of Goop, titled the letter "Conscious Uncoupling " and I had no idea." Not only that the website went viral because of the "conscious uncoupling" term, her take on "vaginal steaming" was also one of the most talked about terms of all time. In fact, Paltrow and her team were also slammed for publishing the online letter containing the "vaginal steaming" term.
Once again, Paltrow defended her Editorial Director and said, "This is a thousands of years old in Korean spas", then Elise Loehnen added, "It feels good, it's not harmful, it's not like we're urging people to go out and buy AK- 47s."
Paltrow even explained that she really doesn't mind the drama about the terms "conscious uncoupling" and "vaginal steaming". She claims that the attention that her website is getting is due to the "nerves" that were tresppased as her online company continuesly gets attention, something other sites are not getting at the moment.
