'The Justice League - Part 1' has its first villain confirmed to make an appearance. George Miller's scrapped 'Justice League: Mortal' version may get a documentary as well.

According to Movie Pilot, the upcoming film's first villain has finally been revealed as KGBeast. He is a supervillain who is primarily Batman's adversary. It is stated in the article that KGBeast would most likely be one in a team of villains set to do battle with the film's superheroes in 'The Justice League - Part 1'.

In the comic books, the character was a special agent and trained assassin for KGB. Anatoli Knyazev, as he was known, was a master of martial arts and when he was cybernetically enhanced he became a deadly killer.

The list included other possible villains that would make an appearance as well as their DC hero counterparts. Lex Luthor could return to taunt Superman, Cheetah could go on a cat fight with Wonder Woman, and King Shark could go head to head with Aquaman. These are all yet to be confirmed, however. The possibilities are endless at this point.

Perhaps fans could take their cue from the abandoned 'Justice League: Mortal' film by George Miller. According to Cinema Blend, the film was Warner Bros. first attempt at putting up a live adaptation of the DC Comics superhero team.

It was initially set for release on 2009 however was scrapped on 2008 during the Writers Guild Strike as well as other "production issues". Actor DJ Cortona, who was slated to play the title role of Clark Kent a.k.a. Superman in the lost version, told Slash Film what viewers could have experienced had the movie pushed through.

He said, "George Miller's mind is so operatic and big and expansive, it's a shame that the world didn't get to see what he would do with superheroes. It was allegorical, like a story of Greek Gods almost. He was doing things with the Superman character and Batman character, and all the iconic favorites, that's never been done before."

Although Miller's vision didn't make it to the big screen, fans would be able to get a taste of what exactly happened during production. In an article by The Hollywood Reporter for Yahoo! Movies, a new documentary is being planned as announced by Australian director Ryan Unicomb and producers Aaron Cater and Steven Caldwell via Inside Film.

'The Justice League - Part 1' is set to be released on November 17, 2017 and will see Earth's greatest superheroes team up to save the planet from tyrannous villains. It will star Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman as well as others.
