Sports teaches people discipline but not in the case of the Diaz brothers. A fight had started along the courtside of WSOF which involved the 2 brothers, Nick and Nate Diaz, and Khabib Nurmagomedov as they watch the event on August 1st. For this reason, the WSOF management decided to ban the two UFC fighters in any event of WSOF.
Everyone was astonished when a commotion emerged at the courtside, according to MMA Fighting. A video captured the fight between Nate Diaz and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Nate threw punches while they had verbal arguments with Khabib. The security came in and stopped the quarrel. When everything seemed settled down, Nick Diaz threw a bottle of beer to Nurmagomedov which started another fight.
The news noted that WSOF Vice President Ali Abdel-Aziz joined to stop the entire commotion along with his securities. They also took the brothers away from the courtside to fully settle them down.
In response to the commotion, WSOF Vice President Ali Abdel-Aziz said in MMA Core, "I can't have Nick and Nate come to a World Series of Fighting event again. He added that he likes the brothers because they are good, but they needed to regain respect from him and the people in the show. He said this with the decision of banning the brothers in any WSOF events.
According to the previous news, Nick Diaz and Nate Diaz were at the courtside to watch and support Jake Shields who was in a game fight with Rousimar Palhares. Along with them was Khabib Nurmagomedov who also watched and supported his brother, Abubakar at the first game who fought with Jorge Moreno.
In the recent news of MMA Core, Khabib Nurmagomedov requested a fight with Nate Diaz when he is no longer banned from the show. Nate Diaz on the other hand, took a video for himself pertaining to the fight that occurred with Khabib. He said in his video, "Hey, f*** that n**** Khabib. He a bitch, he got slapped. BLAM! Open hand slap. BLAM! Bitch ass n**** goof. Nothin." It seemed that the two UFC fighters are far from reconciliation.
The WSOF Vice President has no more to say after his decision of prohibiting the Diaz brothers to WSOF events. And there is no recent report regarding the response of the Diaz brothers from the decision of VP Ali Abdel-Aziz.
