Ronda Rousey to fight 'Cupcake' next; UFC champ tells defeated Bethe Correia, "Don't cry", after knocking her out in 32 seconds

It's the fight that everyone has been waiting for, American Ronda Rousey vs Brazalian Bethe Correia for the woman's UFC Championship. Last Sunday on the 2nd of August, Rousey gave the world exactly what she had promised and beat Correia in a 34 second knockout.

Apparently after the 34 second fight Rousey said to Correia "don't cry." In the post fight conference, fox sport reported that Rousey was asked what she had said to Correia in the ring after she knocked her opponent out.

Rousey stated "I said the exact same thing she was saying to me at the weigh-ins when she was screaming in my face at weigh-ins, she was saying 'Don't cry'. Ronda Rousey then said, "So I turned around to her after I knocked her out and I said 'Don't cry'."

Rousey later on added, "I consider the matter settled, I'm not going to have to think about her ever again after this day and I'm sure she'll have to think about me plenty. As far as I'm concerned, it's over and done with."

With all this being said, it looks like Rousey is happy and content with how everything went down last Sunday and doesn't want to have to deal with Correia or any other personal fight again.

The fight between the two women had become personal as Bether Correia disrespected two friends of Rousey who she considered as family. According to mmafighting.com Rousey said that the fight was personal after Correia secured her chance to fight Rousey when she defeated and disrespected two of Rousey's close friends in back to back contests.

mmajunkie.com reveals that Rousey's next opponent will be against Miesha Tate better known as 'Cupcake.' This will be the third contest the two have faced together after Miesha Tate recently earned the fourth consecutive UFC victory in the last month.

Ronda Rousey defeated 'Cupcake' twice in the year of 2013, but believes that this next fight will be the most challenging yet as Miesha Tate already knowns what to expect from the woman's champ.
