Fox's Scream Queens recently confirmed that a scene from the series was leaked on YouTube showcasing the fate of popstar Ariana Grande's character on the show. The leaked video featured the untimely demise of Ariana's character courtesy of a ghastly figure wearing a devil costume.
Fans of singer Ariana Grande who are thrilled to see the young diva as a part of the cast of upcoming thriller series Scream Queens would most probably feel discouraged knowing that she will eventually be killed off in the series. According to Fanlala, the 15-second clip showed Ariana being stabbed by a mysterious figure wearing a deep red devil costume. She has managed to escape after the first few initial stabs, crawling her way to her computer to post on social media about what's happening to her. Unfortunately for Ariana's character, the devil reaches her just in time for a final stab in the head, ending her life.
International Business Times has written a synopsis of the series intended for those unfamiliar with the show. Scream Queens, created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan, centers around a series of murders that plagues Wallace University. At the same time, local sorority Kappa House is in search of new pledges for the school year. The sorority is famous for being extremely exclusive, catering to only the elite females of the university.
In addition, it is headed by its resident "queen bitch" Chanel Oberlin who is played by actress Emma Roberts who has previously worked with Murphy in American Horror Story: Coven. Unfortunately for Chanel, the dean of the university recently passes a decree allowing for open pledges for all sororities thus voiding Kappa House's exclusivity policy. This and the introduction of a serial killer dressed like a devil become the main plotlines for the series.
Aside from Ariana, Ryan Murphy has also confirmed that there will be other girls who will sadly meet tragic ends. Murphy says that by the end of Scream Queens season 1, only four girls will remain. According to Realty Today, Murphy intends to make Scream Queens into an anthology series of sorts that is much similar to American Horror Story wherein a new season would lead to a new horror genre.
Scream Queens is set to premiere this September 22.
