There was a recent tweet from Samsung U.K. confirming that Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo users in UK will receive an update to Android 5.0 Lollipop. The update is expected to offer substantial performance improvements.

According to talkandroid, Samsung did not forget to put this Android 5.0 Lollipop update to the Galaxy Note 3 Neo users and in fact they are currently working on it. The exact tweet from Samsung U.K to one customer states that "We can confirm that the Note 3 Neo will be moving to lollipop.

However, the company declined to provide an ETA for the assured update. The Company has stated that they are not able to give a time scale, however, they told the fans to be informed as soon as a date is settled.

This latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo will reportedly having a 64-bit ART compiler that makes apps open faster and a material design overhaul.

The Phone Arena added that the new build also features an overhauled "Recent Apps" menu, two finger Quick Settings slide down, Lock Screen notifications as well as the Project Volta for improved battery life of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo device.
