Ubisoft has officially announced that Tom Clancy's The Division will be playable hands-on for the first at the prestigious GamesCom 2015 in Cologne, Germany starting today, August 5 up to August 9. The upcoming title also gets a nomination for GamesCom Awards 2015's Best Console Game for Microsoft Xbox and for Best Role Playing Game said event.
On their official Facebook page, Ubisoft confirms that Tom Clancy's The Division is "finally playable, hands-on, at GamesCom this year" along with a 12-second video teaser inviting fans to the event with a tag line, "Ubisoft GamesCom 2015."
Tom Clancy's The Division is also nominated for the GamesCom Awards 2015 as Best Console Game Microsoft Xbox and Best Role Playing Game while Ubisoft's another Tom Clancy game, Rainbow Six Siege, is nominated for Best Online Multiplayer Game.
At the event, fans can try all Ubisoft's game releases in its designated booth such as Assassin's Creed Syndicate, For Honor, Just Dance 2016, Trackmania Turbo and the just mentioned Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and The Division.
Ubisoft's booth is located in Hall 6.1 at space B020 and attendees " will be able to sample every single one of the games on display on the showfloor," as promised by Ubisoft in their official blog.
"Try your hands at everything, from the Assassin's Creed Syndicate demo, where players will experience the game as Evie Frye, to the multiplayer battles in For Honor, Rainbow Six Siege and The Division. Attendees can also get hands-on time with Anno 2205, Might & Magic Heroes VII and Trackmania Turbo. Those interested in VR will also be able to take that for a spin with the Rabbids Virtual Reality Ride," states Ubisoft.
Gamescom, the world's largest gaming event, will run from August 5 to August 9 in Cologne, Germany.
Tom Clancy's The Division, however, does not have an Alpha version of the game as rumored earlier but a Beta version is developed that will start in December for Xbox One and in early 2016 for PC and PS4.
