Mortal Kombat X continues to dominate the charts of top selling games of 2015 so far and this massive following draws the insatiable hunger of fans for more DLC characters to be included in the title following the recent release of Tremor as the last fighter of Kombat Pack 1 to join the roster.

On July 28, the fourth and last DLC of Kombat Pack 1 for Mortal Kombat X was released but fans and pundits alike opine that NetherRealm Studios might still have more in store for its huge fan base.Tremor's unique moves and fatalities was shown in a recent livestream by NetherRealm as Kombat Pack One, hinting that a Kombat Pack 2 could lie on the horizon.

Also, Kombat Pack 1 was originally titled The Klassic Pack 2 when four DLCs were introduced about four months ago. It implies that a change in title into Kombat Pack 1 is hinting MKX fanatics that there's definitely second pack.

If one can recall, Tremor's arrival came as a bittersweet one for gamers as he marks the last of the planned DLC from the game developer but with this recent development on the planned DLC, the fun could continue.

Speculations suggest that the upcoming characters featured as opponents in the main story of Mortal Kombat X such as Baraka, Sindel, Rain and fighters Fujin, Bo Rai Cho, Stryker and Kabal who all appeared in the main story's cinematics are also surmised to be featured as new future offerings.

Meanwhile, game director Ed Boon drops hints on Twitter to hype up the fans with a new content tease and on what to expect more from Mortal Kombat X. In his tweet, he made mention of a Jurassic Kombat.

"@BigManAshton Jurassic Kombat? A.K.A. Primal Rage! @noobde EB: Yup, that's the 1st thing I thought of too....

In earlier news, Kotaku reported back in late May that the release of Mortal Kombat X to last gen consoles, PS3 and Xbox 360 is reportedly pushed back from summer to a vague fall 2015 release window.

Game Stop website now indicates a placeholder date of December 31, 2015 and Amazon also reflects the same release date. To date, Warner Bros. has not issued a comment regarding the delay of the release.

Although, NetherRealm Studios Creative Director Ed Boon talked a little about the last gen console versions on his Twitter account a couple of months ago :

"@Jayy_Hussle @noobde Quick question. Will PS3 & 360 owners get some type of compensation for the wait? EB: I can't imagine not.
