"The Big Bang Theory" Season 8 will reveal Leonard and Penny finally getting hitched in Las Vegas. Sheldon and Amy might not be getting back together soon as a third party will be involved in the upcoming season.
In a report by International Business Times, Leonard and Penny got into an argument after the former confessed that he kissed another woman while he was in a relationship with Penny. Fans are now asking if the two will still get married after the shocking confession of Leonard.
According to the publication, the wedding might be happening despite the confrontation as the hit CBS series is looking for an actor to play the minister who will make the wedding official. Executive Steve Molaro also said that Season 9 will be picking up from the scene where Penny and Leonard were on their way to Las Vegas.
As for Amy and Sheldon, played by Mayim Bialik and Jim Parsons respectively, Molaro hinted that there might be another man who Amy will fall in love with. However, he made it a point that Amy is not rushing to find a new flame but is not dismissing the thought that she could date other men, Design & Trend reported.
It still remains unknown what the ring was for that Sheldon was supposed to show Amy minutes after she dumped him. It is also unclear if the two will still get back together. Bialik did say months ago that the ring might not be an engagement ring after all as Sheldon is so full of surprises and is very unexpected as always, Christian Post reported. "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 will be answering these questions soon.
