Another handset from DROID line, Motorola DROID Turbo 2015, is said to be already in the works. New images of Verizon-exclusive handset appeared online and suggest that a wireless charging feature will include on the device.
The additional image of the rumoured Motorola Droid Turbo 2015 has been recently posted by HelloMotoHK. Based on the said image, the handset's back shows the same to the Moto X Play that is made of the same soft-touch material too where an easy grip on the device could be experienced, mnrdaily wrote. In addition, the Yibada reports that this image revealed a back camera and flash as well.
According to ecumenicalnews, a coil for wireless charging, which means that the Qi Wireless charging protocol will be supported by the device, is another significant feature that was reportedly shown on the chassis. The said feature was stated present in DROID Turbo 2014.
The purported Motorola Droid Turbo 2015 handset was claimed to be powered by octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor and Adreno 430 chip. Furthermore, the forthcoming mobile gadget will reportedly run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box, yibada reports.
The site also added that Droid-Life reported new Motorola DROID Turbo 2015 to be equipped with turbo charging, 802, MiMo WiFi, 11ac, LTE Advanced, US LTE bands outside of Verizon and LTE Advanced.
Mnrdaily reports that the last year's Motorola DROID handset sports a 5.2-inch QHD display that is being powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 processor together with 3GB of RAM. In addition, the handset was reportedly boasted a 21MP camera, 3900mAh battery and offering 32GB/64GB of storage. The speculated Moto DROID Turbo 2015 seemed to be gearing up to top last year's Motorola DROID Turbo.
Furthermore, the site has stated that the DROID series has always been limited to Verizon. The Motorola DROID Turbo that has been released as the Motorola Moto Maxx outside the United States has also been reported for being exclusive to Verizon Wireless.
DROID 2015 could be announced by Motorola and Verizon in October this year, since the DROID Turbo was unveiled in October 2015.
