Korean all male group EXO, visited their Chinese fans for their "EXO'luXion concert". Yet, following the reports of Chanyeol's minor injury; it appears that some Chinese fans aren't thrilled to see the Korean group performing in their country. According to the latest reports, Chanyeol was hit by a flying water bottle.

EXO was in Chengdu, China, on August 3rd for their concert entitled "EXO'luXion". Some fans were thrilled with the Korean boys' performance. It was clear that some may not be die- hard fans of the group as one member got attacked by a concertgoer, as mentioned by International Business Times.

Eyewitnesses stated that Chanyeol, a member of EXO, was hit by a flying water bottle from the Chinese audience. The bottle eventually hit Chanyeol in his lower left leg. Chanyeol was claimed to have been hurt by the incident. Immediately after the the concert, Chanyeol's Chinese co-member, Lay, talked to the fans in hopes of stopping the same thing from happening.

Lay mentioned that the audience should refrain from throwing water bottles up on stage, as reported by Koreaboo."Your oppas might get hurt by these actions," he continued.

Chinese media also reacted regarding the attack. Whereas, Korean fans were somehow disappointed by how Chinese fans have treated their idols. They even called the Chinese fans "unreasonable", for their horrid act.

This unpleasant incident involving Chanyeol being injured is certainly not the first time EXO members have been attacked in public places. EXO's D.O. was also injured a month earlier during the group's concert in Tokyo, Japan.

Chinese media also reacted regarding the attack. Whereas, Korean fans were somehow disappointed by how Chinese fans have treated their idols. They even called the Chinese fans "unreasonable", for their horrid act. "D.O slipped on his way down from stage during SM Town's Japan concert," claimed by a representative of SM Entertainment. Way back in March, Kai and former group member, Tao were also injured during their performance in China, according to Kpopstarz.

Now, Korean fans are furious about how the Chinese audience treated the boy group. While Exo are still planning to come back to China after the incident, what Exo managers as well as the group only ask for is respect during their performaces.
