Fans might have to wait a while for 'Outlander' season 2. But from the looks of it, there will be major changes next season, which could probably suggest that the show is worth to wait. In fact, the upcoming season will be completely different than the previous season. This same holds true for Claire and Jamie as they deal their own issues.
There will be major developments, as well as big changes for 'Outlander' season 2 characters. From Scotland, the series will be moving to France as Claire Beauchanmp and Jamie Mackenzie will have to face new trials. In this new setting, the couple having to deal with Claire's pregnancy, as well the past that still hunts Jaime.
IBTimes reports that a video posted on Youtube shows Jamie and Claire in their new costume and meeting new characters. Jamie apparently tells his wife in one of the scenes that life is "never dull" with her by his side.
According to Sam Heughan in an interview with Blastr, Jamie will be "caught in web of politicking" between the royal ones. Outside their new home, the couple will be bounded with political affairs.
"He's in it, but he's not relishing it at all. We see them slowly get better at [playing the game] and learn they can undercut people and be quite political themselves. Publicly he's a good businessman and very charming, but in those late nights with Claire we see the mask come off. They are bonded mostly by their child, and it carries them through," said Heughan.
The actor also revealed that the transition to take the series to France was a bit difficult for the couple. They will have to face new trials inside their new home in Paris. According to Franchise Herald, Jamie, apart from the past that haunts him, will be facing new challenges including having a wife, being a father and becoming a father.
