Respawn Entertainment is straightforward to confirm that Titanfall 2 will be expanding to PS4 fanbase this time around opposite to its first game and will be possibly experienced by the fans around Holiday 2016.
EA CFO Blake Jorgensen earlier stated that Titanfall 2 won't be out before April 2016 and that fans will be seeing the new game in fiscal year 2017 estimated to fall between April 2016 and March 2017. During this year's investors' call, the publisher exec revealed, "You should assume [Titanfall 2] is not in fiscal '16; it's more likely in fiscal '17."
Meanwhile, the game developer's co-founder Vince Zampella, although, hesitant at first, did talk about the new game's existence, reports Express Co.UK.
"I guess EA announced a sequel, so I could play coy and pretend I don't know anything about it, or... yeah. So we're working on a sequel," Zampella said. "No official name yet, but we're working on that. That's the main focus but we're starting up a second team and doing some smaller stuff too. Small, exploratory, taking it slow! It'll be multiplatform."
Also, Zampella has recently explained to fans online the reasons why the original title was limited to Xbox One release. According to Respawn's boss, the exclusive deal with Microsoft was due to factors such as the studio size and limited resources to complete the project.
"I felt we needed to do it, he tweeted. "We were a small team starting from scratch. Not greed, it limited our market. +chance to finish."
However, the dev team has already confirmed that the next installment will be releasing to PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms which Zampella has reassured to a fan via Twitter query.
@VinceZampella - to a lot of us you created the best console games ever (COD4/MW2), thought it was strange you alienated half your fan base.

"That will be fixed," Zampella answered. "We want as many as possible to play our games!"
In an IGN report, Respawn Entertainment is reportedly planning to make changes to the game's upcoming DLC model just like how Evolve has shown its commitment to unite the gaming community with free maps.
Titanfall 2 is the much anticipated sequel to 2014 multi-player first person shooter video game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. It is set to release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC platforms somewhere around April 2016 to March 2017, although, some game pundits predict that it will be out around Holiday 2016.
