The "Minority Report" TV series has been modified for the small screen. Wilmer Valderrama is the latest star who will be joining the upcoming show.
Christian post says that fans would notice some significant changes that have been made in the "Minority Report" when the TV adaptation will hit the small screen next month. On of these changes is the name of the NFL Team. According to the report of Deadline, "Washington Red Clouds," new name of the NFL Team, pays tribute to a famous Indian chief.
In addition to that change of name, there are other elements of the "Minority report" that have been changed, which are obviously different from the science fiction film starred by Tom Cruise. For instance, some monuments have been changed including the a "cooler public transportation system" of the city.
Report says that Steven Spielberg wants to TV adaptation to have a "warmer and more inviting" ambiance in comparison to his 2002 movie. On a serious note, the TV series' focus is on the "life of the pre-cog Dash" who has been missing while in "remote retreat area following the disbandment of the Precrime investigation."
Fox Executive Producer Darryl Frank said that Spielberg hopes to bring pre-cogs to life because that is what impressed him the most while developing the "Minority Report" TV series.
Sentinel Republic says that the series' setting is in Washington, D.C. This is after the Precrime unit has been dismantled.
On a different report, Dispatch Times also introduced a new cast member. Everyone knows that the "Minority Report" TV series has the casts line-up of Stark Sands, Lara Vega, Laura Regan, Nick Zano and Li Jun Li. But the new actor to join the gang is Wilmer Valderrama.His character is detective Will Blake, who replaces Megan Good's character while's she's on leave. In addition, the TV series has just released its official poster.
The "Minority Report" is slated to premiere on Sept. 21 on Fox.
