The mothership series Chicago Fire is bound to return for its fourth season with the whereabouts of Matt Casey (Jesse Spencer), pregnancy result of Gabriella Dawson (Monica Raymund), Kelly Severide's (Taylor Kinney) love life, and new characters to the new storylines. Chicago Fire Season 4 will open with a straight forward approach as it pick up where it ended in Season 3.
TV Line interviews Matt Olmstead, executive producer, about the potential path Chicago Fire Season 4. Olmstead only shared a portion on Casey's situation. Casey might be framed up for Katya's death or possibly kidnapped by whoever killed Katya. Olmstead also confirms that Katya and casey are connected, but not the romantic way.
Another to catch is Gabby's pregnancy result. Season 3 finale was not clear on the result, but there is a possibility that the pregnancy test turned out to be positive. If that will be the case, Gabby will be transferred to a desk job, as part of firefighter's policy for pregnant women, Olmstead shared.
Youth Health Magazine also notes that Jack Nesbitt (Eric Mabius) might be Katya's killer. Jack kills Katya after finding out that Katya might have tipped Casey on a coming danger on his undercover work.
Dora Madison Burg who plays Jessica Chili Chilton, the paramedic, will be seen constantly in the coming season as she is now a regular, Hollywood Reporter reports. Fans will also see more of Sylvie Brett (Kara Killmer) and Sean Roman (Brian Geraghty) as the two becomes an item in Chicago Fire Season 4.
Season 4 will focus more on the characters' personal lives as they shift roles in Station 51, of course it will kick off with Gabby's removal from the firefighter truck possibly due to incoming pregnancy. As for Severide's love life, someone more serious is in store for his heart this season.
Watch Season 4 of Chicago Fire premieres on Tuesday, 13 October, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
